Citronella’s Origin
Haldin cultivates Citronella using the Seraiwangi variety, specifically Cymbopogon winterianus or the Javanese Seraiwangi type, grown in the hill regions of West Java. This region is selected for its ideal climate, situated 350 to 600 meters above sea level, providing optimal conditions for Citronella growth. Haldin manages cultivation and harvesting facilities directly at the origin, ensuring full control over every stage of the agricultural process. This thorough oversight across the supply chain allows Haldin to produce Citronella oil with naturally high levels of active compounds, including citronellal, citronellol, and geraniol, guaranteeing a consistently premium, high-quality product.
